you are quite the movie watcher

if i get ever break down and get netflix, this is a convenient little list

wow, i have seen most of these as well, and these lists are almost always better known for their omissions, because, otherwise, who would care? i mean, it's the 'I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY LEFT OFF (A) AND PUT IN (B)! ka-ching!

still, three glaring omissions (unless my search function is not working): pan's labyrinth, english patient and good god i can't believe they left off Miller's Crossing!

really, miller's crossing is just a perfect film.

I have never seen Miller's Crossing! Onto my netflix queue it goes.

They also left off Ferris Bueller's Day Off, which if you're gonna put dumb comedies on the list is a pretty glaring omission. But, as you say, the omissions are basically the whole point.

Miller's Crossing is a great movie. Its very Coen-y, perhaps a little too Coen-y for some people, but it is just a very well done movie - the plot is interesting, the acting is fantastic and, as with all Coen Brothers films, the sound and cinematography are first-rate. I definitely would have it on my list.

Unrelated, but I watched Barton Fink last night for the first time in years and that is another incredible early Coen Brothers movie.
